Size guide:
The Emberstone Cardigan - Aran is designed to have approxmately 20.5-25.5 cm[ 8.25-10.25 inches ] of positive
ease across all sizes, meaning it is designed to be 20.5-24.5 cm [ 8.25-10.25 inches ] larger in circumference than
your bust measurement.
The sizes, XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL are designed to fit a bust circumference of
71-76 (81-86) 91.5-96.5 (101.5-106.5) 115.5-117 (122-127) 132-137 (142-147) 152-158 cm
[ 28-30 (32-34) 36-38 (40-42) 44-46 (48-50) 52-54 (56- 58) 60-62 inches ].
The schematic and finished measurements for the cardigan can be found on page 19 of the pattern.
Measure yourself before beginning your project to determine which size will fit you the best.
For example, if you measure 86 cm [ 34.5 inches ] around your bust (or around the widest part of your upper body)
you should knit a size S. A size S cardigan has a bust circumference of 106.5 cm [ 42.5 inches ] which in the given
example would give you 20.5 cm [ 10.25 inches ] of positive ease.
Sample was knitted in size S, the model has a bust circumference of 90 cm [ 35.5 inches ] and is 155 cm [ 5’1” ] tall).
Note: Size M XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL have not been tested yet, if you are interested in knitting one of these sizes,
