I’m Pushpa Gurung — the designer behind Dear Knits. Originally from the small and beautiful country of Nepal, I now live in London with my beloved husband.

Knitting cardigans is my favorite kind of project (though I do enjoy a good sweater now and then!). There’s a special kind of joy I feel each time I pick up a project — from the first few stitches to that exciting moment after blocking when it all comes together.

I believe many knitters know that feeling — the happiness and quiet pride of seeing a finished garment take shape. But I’m the type who admires it even during the blocking process! I love watching a piece transform, and it always amazes me.

Oh, I absolutely adore it.

My patterns are designed to be wearable, thoughtful, and clearly written, with an emphasis on collaboration and care. I work closely with test knitters and truly value the feedback and connection that come from this shared process.
